Antec True 430 Watt Power Supply
Simply the best PSU EVER!

I bought the Antec 430W True Power PSU as my system desperately needed some more power and I was sick of cheap generic PSU's all being the same and not ever working well. I did some serious research and even though I was a bit cautious about spending £60 on a PSU, I can now say it was 100% worth it.They say you get what you pay for and that is certainly the case with the Antec True Power range of PSU's. The box was presented very professionally and the PSU was packed very well. Inside the box was the PSU, mounting screws, and a detailed and well written manual. The actual PSU itself looks very good. There are tons of wires coming out of it including a 3 pin PSU fan monitor connector so that your system can monitor the speed of the PSU fans.
Once I had installed the PSU, and switched on my PC, I got a shock. No it didn't blow up! It was so quiet!! I didn't think I had actually switched it on correctly! I was amazed that I could actually hear myself think for a change! This is because the PSU has 2 "fan only" power connectors. You plug them into system fans and it makes them go as fast (or as slow) as they need to go depending on system temperature. The actual PSU is almost silent. Therefore my whole system became much, much quieter after this PSU was installed.
I have run many tests and played games and my system has not locked up or rebooted once (my system is an AMD 2500+, 512MB DDR400 RAM, 9800pro graphics, 2 HDDs, DVD-RW). Even when I overclocked the 2500+ to a 3200+ the PSU coped fine. This PSU makes your system very stable. I highly recommend it to anyone, it may seem expensive, but paying out the extra £40 now will save you a lot of hassle in the future.
